The liver, one of the largest organs in the human body, is designed to clean and filter the blood and to fight infections. As part of the gastrointestinal system, the liver aids in food digestion and energy storage. A reasonably healthy liver has an incredible ability to regenerate when it is damaged. Whatever prevents the liver from doing what it is supposed to, or from growing back when it is injured, is a serious threat to survival.
This website informs the user of many of the things that can go wrong and what can be done to restore the futures of many individuals afflicted with liver disease.
